It’s been a really busy summer in Southern Colorado and there are some exciting things happening. We have some exciting new listings and updates to share with you. While so much of the country has been having severe flooding we have been having record rainfall all Spring and Summer so far. It is as green as you will ever see it this time of year and is the greenest that we have seen in many years. We are very thankful for the rain and really needed it. It has rained nearly everyday this year since the snow stopped falling. Just incredible.
We just posted about our new listing Aspen Rose Ranch Tract 20 and this property is pretty special. Barbara and I worked with the original developer when this ranch was first subdivided and sold and I remember the first time that I set foot on this parcel as if it was yesterday. It left a lasting impression in my mind about how spectacular the views where and these are right up there as some of the best that you will find here. The Blue Spruce and Douglas Fir mixed with Aspens in a setting with nearly 360 degree views is one that you will cherish for many years. This is that dream property that you have been looking for! It was such a beautiful day for photos when we went to Tract 20 that we decided to go over to our other listing on the ranch, which is Aspen Rose Ranch Tract 4, and take some new photos. Sometimes it is hard to catch the right day for mountain property photos but we did get some really good photos of Tract 4 also. Also we have a new listing on Delagua Canyon Ranch and it is Parcel 35 located with great access on the County Road with a building site up in the ranch. It has a huge open meadow with a small seasonal creek on it that is fed from the Delagua Spring. This would be a great property if you wanted to have horses or a few cattle as it has one of the largest meadows that you will find on a mountain property. It’s been pretty busy on Santa Fe Trail Ranch also as we have spent some time on all of our listings there this last week. We are very excited that our property owner for Parcel 62 brought in a company to clear us a path out to the building site. Parcel 62 has some of the most incredible 270 degree views that you can ever imagine on Santa Fe Trail Ranch but it wasn’t easy to get to them. Well now it is an easy walk out to what we think is the best building spot and oh my gosh you won’t believe how beautiful it is. You have the entire southern Sangre de Cristo mountain range, both Spanish Peaks and Fishers Peak and Raton Mesa are in your face plus you can see the Plains and the city lights in Trinidad.
