You don’t have the big mountain views from this parcel but you do get some really nice views of the tops of the Spanish Peaks and Fishers Peak back in Trinidad as well as some of the plains to the east.
There is a large private ranch that borders Parcel 135 and 140 on the east side and I am not positive but I think that this is land that was donated to the Boy’s Ranch by the rancher that passed away a few years ago. We would have to explore more to find this out but that is what I understand. I had originally thought that there was a fenced between these properties and that ranch but after hiking these properties I didn’t locate a fence.
Where this property is located on the back edge of the ranch it could be a good property for hunting with the draws and tree coverage combined with the privacy of the location so you will have to see what you think if you are a hunter, it has potential.
