The County Roads are not plowed either from the Huerfano County side near Cordova Pass or the Las Animas County Side past the main entrance to Spanish Peaks Ranch Estates. The current owners have snowshoed in quite a few times. The snow pack is not too bad but since the roads aren't currently plowed or maintained during the winter you just couldn't drive in. But I would bet you could certainly use a snowmobile to get there. That would be cool.
